Operate a Forklift (LF) with Pre-Reading
TLILIC2001 – Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck
This course is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work. It is aimed at experienced operators of boom-type elevating work platforms with a boom length 11 metres or more.
Participants will be required to demonstrate the following:
- Hazard identification and risk assessment
- Understanding of legislative requirements
- Carrying out routine checks including pre and post operational
- Setting up and operating the Forklift
- Shutting down and securing the Forklift
IMPORTANT – Participants will be provided with an electronic copy of the Training Manual on enrolment. You MUST read the Training Manual prior to course commencement.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older, have a sound knowledge of the English language and have prior experience.
On arrival you will be required to undertake the Worksafe theory assessment which you must successfully complete before progressing to the practical assessment. Please note written assessments are closed book.
On successful completion of this course students will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for TLILIC2001 Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck. The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance.
Your Statement of Attainment does not have an expiry date, however, your High Risk Work Licence expires every 5 years. You must not carry out high risk work until your licence has been renewed.
