HIGH RISK WORK LICENCE
A High Risk Work Licence is a photographic licence, issued to people who have been trained and assessed as competent to work in a class of work defined as high-risk work.

A) HIGH RISK WORK LICENCE – If you do not have a High Risk Work Licence yet
If you wish for Saferight to assist and make arrangements for you from start to end, please make an online payment by clicking the week your training falls in. Your enrolment will then be attached to this additional request from you for us to prepare the necessary documents for your High Risk Work Licence.
After you’ve completed your training with us at and have been assessed by a WorkSafe Registered Assessor here at Saferight, we will go through the steps with you to complete all the necessary paperwork for your WorkSafe High Risk Licence.
B) HIGH RISK WORK LICENCE – Adding a new class to your current High Risk Work Licence

Your enrolment will then be attached to this additional request from you for us to prepare the necessary documents for your High Risk Work Licence.
After you’ve completed your training with us at and have been assessed by a WorkSafe Registered Assessor here at Saferight, we will go through the steps with you to complete all the necessary paperwork for your WorkSafe High Risk Licence.
SUMMARY: INTERMEDIATE RIGGING COURSE
This Rigging Intermediate Course unit specifies the outcomes required to perform rigging work at the intermediate level and also includes rigging of cranes, rigging of conveyors, rigging of dredges and excavators, rigging associated with tilt slabs, rigging associated with demolition work, and dual lifts for licensing purposes.
Students will attain the practical application to perform dogging properly and will be able to:

1 | Plan task. | 1.1 | Review task instructions, consult with relevant persons to seek clarification as required, and obtain relevant workplace information. |
1.2 | Obtain and interpret information, including safe work method statements (SWMSs), required to ensure that activities are performed in compliance with workplace-specific and safe work requirements. | ||
1.3 | Obtain and interpret information required to ensure that equipment inspection, use, maintenance and storage complies with manufacturer requirements. | ||
1.4 | Identify workplace and task-specific hazards and determine required risk controls and safety measures and equipment, including signs and barricades, personal protective equipment (PPE), and fall prevention and fall arrest equipment. | ||
1.5 | Identify methods of moving and placing tools, equipment and materials to minimise the risk of falling objects, to avoid inappropriate carrying on ladders and to minimise hazardous manual tasks. | ||
1.6 | Identify required rigging equipment and associated gear. | ||
1.7 | Calculate loads associated with mechanical load shifting equipment and associated gear required to erect and dismantle structures and plant. | ||
1.8 | Establish required communication methods with relevant persons. | ||

4 | Undertake intermediate rigging activities. | 4.1 | Erect and dismantle all structures and operate plant while maintaining stability, in accordance with workplace and manufacturer requirements. |
4.2 | Conduct a multiple-crane lift. | ||
4.3 | Erect and dismantle one of the following: a tower crane section or a crane lattice boom section, or a fly jib on a mobile slewing or a non-guyed tower crane. | ||
4.4 | Lift and install a series of tilt-up concrete panels. | ||
4.5 | Remove a concrete-encased structural steel column and beam. | ||

SUMMARY: ADVANCED RIGGING
This course is based upon the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work in the licencing class of Advanced Rigging. The course will give participants the necessary skills to perform advanced rigging work and also includes rigging of cranes, rigging of conveyors, rigging of dredges and excavators, rigging associated with tilt slabs, rigging associated with demolition work, and dual lifts for licensing purposes.

4.5 | Erect, operate and dismantle suspended scaffold. | ||
4.6 | Install and remove fabricated hung scaffold. | ||

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Must hold a valid Basic Rigging licence (CPCCLRG3001 – Licence to perform rigging basic level)
- Must be 18 years old and above
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Present photo I.D. on arrival
- Complete a ‘Fitness to Complete Training’ form. The student is required to declare any medical issue that may exclude them from full participation
- Wear steel cap shoes/boots and remove all jewellery prior to commencement

6 days (Monday to Saturday)
CERTIFICATION
On successful completion of this Combination Intermediate and Advanced Rigging course, students will be sent a digital copy (PDF) of a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for:
- CPCCLRG3001 – Licence to perform rigging intermediate level
- CPCCLRG4001 – Licence to perform rigging advanced level
The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance.
