Online Training Courses

This course is aimed at ensuring the health and safety of personnel who have to undertake work activities within an irrespirable atmosphere. It provides guidance to maintain and operate an open circuit breathing apparatus, correct testing and donning procedures as per AS/NZS 1715 : 2009 and 1716 : 2012.

Get your Statement of Attainment through our online learning modules and assessments. On successful completion of the online component you will be required to attend Saferight’s training centre where you will complete a practical assessment (3-4 hours approx).

Please Note: This is a mixed course which consists of:

Online Theory Learning Component

Face-to-face Practical Component.

The online learning module options consist of a self-directed online learning component (Approx 3-4 hours) before attending a face-to-face practical session at our Saferight Training Facility.

Upon enrolment into this course you are required to complete the compulsory theory learning and assessment. This is done online on your own time (or as directed by your employer) prior to your face-to-face practical training day.

1. Online Learning Component:

  • Access our online learning platform with complete learning modules built and tested by industry experts
  • Flexibility to study when you like and go at your own pace.

 

2. Hands On Practical Training Component:

  • Face to face training conducted by our experienced instructors.
  • Recommendations and advice for specialised PPE
NOTE: Once you have achieved a competent result in your e-Learning course you will be provided with a completion certificate.  To be permitted entry into the face-to-face component of the selected course you must print and present your “Online Learning Completion Certificate”. You cannot enter the face-to-face component of this course without passing the e-Learning course.
If you attend your face-to-face component without your completion certificate you cannot enter the training and your course fee will be forfeited.  If you wish to attend an alternative face-to-face date a re-booking fee will apply.
