This Emergency Response and Rescue Training – Module 1 course offered by Saferight is an Australian nationally recognised qualification and is the mining and resources industry standard for those employed or seeking employment within firefighting or emergency response fields.

This mines rescue qualification reflects the role of emergency response and rescue team members working in the resources and infrastructure industry.

The Module 1 ERR training is a part of three short courses for an easier learning experience, which collectively pave the way for a higher qualification, notably the RII30719 Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue. 

The target audience for the Grader course are individuals who are:

  1. New Entrants: People looking to begin a career in the construction industry, particularly in high risk.

Breathing Apparatus Training

  • PUAFIR207 – Operate breathing apparatus open circuit
    • Pre-use examinations and evaluations of breathing equipment
    • Wearing and inspecting breathing apparatus

Rescue Operations Training

  1. Must hold a valid HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid licence
  2. Ability to read, write and understand English
  3. Present photo I.D. on arrival
  4. Complete a ‘Fitness to Complete Training’ form. The student is required to declare any medical issue that may exclude them from full participation
  5. Complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test to determine if the applicant has the required skill level to complete the course.

Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) Assessment: An Essential Component of the Enrolment Process

At our training organisation, we recognise the importance of language, literacy, and numeracy skills in successfully completing the CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. To ensure that all students possess the required competencies, we have integrated an LLN assessment as part of our enrolment process.

Upon submission of your enrolment application, you will be prompted to complete our online LLN assessment. This assessment is designed to evaluate your reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication, and learning skills, which are critical for your success in the course and your future career in early childhood education.

The LLN assessment consists of a series of questions and activities that gauge your ability to comprehend and respond to various forms of information. The assessment is not a pass or fail test, but rather a tool that helps us identify your current skill levels and determine any potential support needs.

Based on the results of the LLN assessment, our dedicated team will work with you to develop a tailored support plan, addressing any identified gaps in language, literacy, or numeracy skills. This may include additional learning resources, one-on-one support sessions, or referrals to external support services, ensuring that you have the necessary foundation to achieve your educational goals.

By conducting an LLN assessment as part of our enrolment process, we strive to create an inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students, setting them up for success in their studies and beyond.

The Module 1 ERR training is a part of three short courses for an easier learning experience, which collectively pave the way for a higher qualification, notably the RII30719 Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue. 

The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance. 

At our training organisation, we understand the value of your prior learning and are committed to recognising your achievements through our Credit Transfer process. If you have previously completed any relevant units or qualifications in the early childhood education sector, you may be eligible for credit towards the CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. To apply for a Credit Transfer, simply provide us with certified copies of your transcripts or Statements of Attainment from a recognised training provider via our online enrolment process. Our dedicated team will assess your application, determine the equivalence of your completed units, and grant appropriate credit towards your course. By acknowledging your prior learning, we aim to streamline your educational journey and support your continued growth in the early childhood education sector.

At our training organisation, we value your previous experience and skills and offer a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process to acknowledge your accomplishments. If you possess relevant skills, knowledge, or experience gained through work, volunteering, or informal training in the early childhood education sector, you may be eligible for RPL towards the CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. To apply for RPL, you will need to provide evidence of your competencies, which may include work samples, references, or documentation of your achievements. Our dedicated team will assess your application, evaluate your prior learning against the course requirements, and grant appropriate recognition towards your qualification. A) HIGH RISK WORK LICENCE – If you do not have a High Risk Work Licence yet

If you wish for Saferight to assist and make arrangements for you from start to end, please make an online payment by clicking the week your training falls in. Your enrolment will then be attached to this additional request from you for us to prepare the necessary documents for your High Risk Work Licence.

After you’ve completed your training with us at and have been assessed by a WorkSafe Registered Assessor here at Saferight, we will go through the steps with you to complete all the necessary paperwork for your WorkSafe High Risk Licence.

B) HIGH RISK WORK LICENCE – Adding a new class to your current High Risk Work Licence

If you wish for Saferight to assist and make arrangements for you from start to end, please make an online payment by clicking the week your training falls in. Your enrolment will then be attached to this additional request from you for us to prepare the necessary documents for your High Risk Work Licence.

After you’ve completed your training with us at and have been assessed by a WorkSafe Registered Assessor here at Saferight, we will go through the steps with you to complete all the necessary paperwork for your WorkSafe High Risk Licence.
