Scaffolder

Scaffolders assemble and dismantle temporary platforms or structures at events or on work sites. Scaffolders are individuals who are physically strong and are comfortable working outdoors and high above the ground. They must be prepared to work in a variety of locations and at times, in difficult weather conditions.

General Responsibilities:

  • Work from plans and blueprints, selecting scaffolding materials, fitting together steel pipes, braces and clamps before lifting and positioning sections of scaffolding together.
  • Disassemble scaffolding at the completion of a job and ensuring the site is clean and tidy.
  • Follow procedures and instructions to ensure the safety and security of the scaffolding and the people working on the site.

Annual Wage: $141,960
