This fire retardant fall protection adjustable rope lanyard is designed to be a link between an attachment anchor point and a harness providing the user with maximum safety for hot work applications. It is manufactured to limit the amount of force transferred to the user’s body to 6kN in the event of a fall.
The webbing of the shock absorber is made of Nomex and Kevlar fibers which makes it flame-resistant, durable and light. Nomex fiber is inherently flame resistant, will not melt, drip or support combustion in the air. Kevlar fiber helps enhance the overall durability, strengthens the harness and provides thermal protection. It is engineered with a semi-static rope that is resistant to high temperatures with a polyamide core for high strength and has an aramid sheath that is resistant to heat of up to 450°C.
This fall protection lanyard is suitable for construction, mining and emergency responders as it provides a protection barrier against any fire incidences.
Designed and manufactured in WA.
