Overview
This course introduces participants to the Rapid Response Kit as outlined in requirements of Section 20.1 of the WA Code of Practice for the Prevention of Falls at the Workplace. The course is designed to enable participants to perform the recover of a fallen or suspended worker with a rapid response kit to facilitate the prevention and control of suspension trauma.

The practical component gives participants an introduction to the Rapid Response Kit in the rescue of a conscious or unconscious casualty including knots and anchor point selections.

PRE-REQUISITES
1. A Work Safely at Heights Certificate (MNMG237A - Work Safely at Heights). The Work Safely at Heights course covers Legislation, Work Positioning, Fall Arrest, Rope Characteristics, Restraint, Limited Free Fall, Anchor Points, Harness Donning and Inspection of Fall Prevention PPE and Selection, Use and Maintenance (as per AS/NZS 1891.4).

Please note this is not a Nationally Accredited Course.
