MSAPMPER302A - Issue Work Permits (Hot Work/Confined Space)
Overview
This course will enable participants who issue work permits to understand the different
hot work permits, know the limitations of each permit and make decisions regarding
the need for and correct use of each permit according to BHP Billiton Iron Ore Hot
Work Procedure TRN-IHS-SAF-123. This course is designed for any person(s) required to
perform hot work on a BHPBIO Site.
This course partially covers the requirements of MSAPMPER302A - Issue Work
Permits (Hot Work/Confined Space) and is required to be run in conjunction with
BHPIO Hot Work Supervisor/Issue Permits (L3) to receive a Statement of Attainment to MSAPMPER302A

Clothing:Wear normal work clothing and suitable footwear.
Please bring own gloves and hard hat.
Please remove all jewellery.
On-Site Delivery Requirements
Each site must ensure the following:
Site procedures and documentation for confined space working
Suitable classroom
Actual or simulated confined spaces with a minimum of three different entries
Note: If training is carried out on site, the client is responsible for travel and accommodation costs.
