Overview

This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge of the equipment and techniques to perform rope rescue within the working environment. The practical aspects of the course cover basic access techniques, basic rescue of a single person and operator and performing team rescue operations.

 

PRE-REQUISITE: SAFERIGHT recommends participants hold a Work Safely at Heights Certificate (RIIOHS204A) prior to attending the course.

Note: If training is carried out on site, the client is responsible for travel and accommodation costs.

TRAINEE/INSTRUCTOR RATIO: Minimum 4:1 — Maximum 8:1

CLOTHING: Wear normal work clothing and safety boots. Please remove all jewellery prior to course.
