BHPBIO - Perform Hot Work (Level 2)

THIS COURSE PARTIALLY COVERS THE REQUIREMENTS OF
MSAPMPER300C - ISSUE WORK PERMITS

Overview

This course will enable participants who issue work permits to understand the different hot work permits, know the limitations of each permit and make decisions regarding the need for and correct usxe of each permit according to BHP Billiton Iron Ore Hot Work Procedure TRN-IHS-SAF-123.  This course is designed for any person/s required to perform hot work on a BHPBIO sdite.

 

This course partially covers the requirements of MSAPMPER300C—Issue Work Permits and is required to be run in conjunction with BHPIO Hot Work Supervisor/Issue Permits (L3) to receive a Statement of Attainment to MSAPMPER300C.

 

PRE-REQUISITE:  Satisfactory completion of Use Portable Fire Fighting Equipment (PRMPFES05B).

ON-SITE DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS: Each site must ensure the following: Relevant workplace procedures and supporting documentation Suitable classroom Actual or simulated confined spaces.

CLOTHING: Wear normal work clothing and safety boots. Please remove all jewellery prior to course.
