Rescue Kits for Heights
Rapid response kits should be available on all sites where people are working at heights or in a confined space where somebody may require rescue after a fall in a harness.
All users should be trained in their operation, as rapid rescue after a fall is an extremely important consideration due to the possible effects of suspension trauma caused by hanging in a harness. The kits are supplied pre-rigged with a figure 8 knot on one end.
