Recovery Reels

SAFERIGHT markets and distributes the IKAR range of inertia reels in Australasia. The reels are renowned worldwide for their robust design and engineering excellence. Recovery reels are used in confined space applications to provide primary or secondary means of access and ergress. In addition to the inertia reel, they have a winch element allowing a second person to lower or raise the worker attachment to the reel.

SERVICING REQUIREMENTS

It is a requirement of AS/NZS 1891.4 : 2009 and the manufacturer's recommendationm that all inertia reels must be serviced on an annual basis by the manufacturer's authorised servicing agent. Failure to maintain annual servicing requirements voids the manufacturer's warranty and is a breach of an employers' duty of care. Inertia reels can require different levels of servicing depending upon annual usage and parts. SAFERIGHT offers a contract which includes a basic service in accordance with AS/NZS 1891.4 : 2009 every twelve (12) months for the duration of the contract. Should any replacement parts be required, you will be sent a quotation for approval before the additional works are carried out.
